Halifax, Nova Scotia, February 21, 2002 — Titanium Corporation Inc. (CDNX: TIC), through its partnering effort with the Minerals Engineering Centre of Dalhousie University, launched a small pilot testing plant today that could prove a giant heavy minerals recovery step for Nova Scotia.

This new facility, located at Dalhousie University, will be used to further confirm the economic feasibility of producing high grade/high value titanium dioxide feedstock from the heavy mineral concentrates Titanium Corporation proposes to extract from its 70 square kilometers claims area along the Shubenacadie River. This testing, which will generate a processing flowchart, is expected to be completed in about six months.

???This is truly a major milestone in the affairs of our company,??
